Nina Tufano, DPT is a graduate from The University of Scranton where she received her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2007 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Nina has over 13 years of clinical experience and has worked in outpatient orthopedic, acute rehabilitation and inpatient settings. Her clinical experience in various settings has given her the opportunity to further her knowledge in orthopedic, neurology and sports rehabilitation. As a former athlete, Nina continues to be very active and takes a special interest in helping patients return to their sport or recreational activity
She strongly believes in patient education and providing her patients with knowledge of their condition, how to manage symptoms and prevent re-injury. Nina uses a combination of manual therapy techniques including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, active-release technique and muscle energy techniques along with functional strengthening, kinesio-taping and modalities to promote healing and help patients return to their prior level of function. She continues to enhance her clinical skills with continuing education courses.s.

One-on-One Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy department is dedicated to providing one-on-one treatment with our highly trained physical therapists. They will focus on reducing your pain and inflammation, and improve your strength, body mechanics, and assist in athletic conditioning. Some facilities may have one therapist treating as many as five patients at once, our office prides itself on each individual patient getting the necessary hands on treatment time which is shown through our incredible results. Whether pre or post surgical care, spinal strengthening and stabilization, auto injury rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, or referral from another doctor, our physical therapy department will be sure to exceed all of your expectations.
